The newest member of the elite Feral Warriors brotherhood, Fox is eager to prove himself on the frontlines of battle against the Daemons. When paired with the legendary Ilina warrior, Melisande, he expects the fierce beauty to quickly fall under the spell of his quite considerable charm. Instead, he finds himself spellbound by a woman who’s his match in every way.
Beneath Melisande’s brittle exterior lies centuries of pain and a violent hatred of all shape-shifters—a hatred that slowly crumbles after they’re caught in a deadly and cunning Mage trap and she glimpses a surprising depth in her far-too-seductive partner. Their survival demands unconditional trust—and their salvation surrender to a wild, untamed

Reviewer’s Thoughts:

In this, the 7th installment of the Feral Warriors series, we meet the new Fox shifter. As one of the newest shifters to join the elite Feral Warriors, Fox is eager to prove himself to his new brothers. I found Fox to be cocky and very full of himself from the very first page. The reason this stood out was because if you are familiar with the Feral Warriors, you’d know that if there is one thing they are not, it’s cocky or full of themselves. They are fierce warriors warriors, hardcore on the outside with a marshmallow center with the right women. This is something you really don’t see with Fox for a good part of the book.
Enter Melisande, an Ilina with an attitude and an intense hatred for all shifters. Melisande is the one woman who does not fall all over herself at a single glance from Fox. The love/hate relationship between these two was practically explosive.
As a fan of the series, I loved the appearances of all the others ferals that have found their happily ever after. A Love Untamed did a great job of bringing us one step closer to tying up some loose ends. While I applaud Palmer for not downplaying Melisande’s tragic past, I found it difficult to enjoy Melisande as a heroine worthy of a feral warrior when she spends more than half the book being so cold and angry towards everyone, friend and foe alike.

Shifters, mages, magic traps, magical labyrinth, A Love Untamed has them all and unless you’re familiar with the series and have read the previous, you will be completely lost. My recommendation… you definitely do not want to miss a Love Untamed, however, definitely make the time to read the previous books in the series first.
