This was a cute read. I enjoyed the unlikely relationship between Cassie and Frederick. The quirkiness of Cassie’s personality with the staunch rigidness of Frederick worked. There were some plot holes that I really wanted answers to (what was this portion Reginald was working on and why did he give it to Frederick? Frederick’s “gift”, why he moved away from his family and the turning…you can’t gloss over that. This missing detail would have made this a great read instead of just good, in my opinion, and maybe explain the relationship Frederick had a little bit more.
