Reviewer’s Thoughts

I have absolutely loved reading Laurie Roma’s series The Breakers’ Bad Boys, they have been absolutely amazing from the story and plot to the emotions and of course the really hot sex!  The characters in this book did not disappoint me at all, and I connected with them right from the start.

Daryk Nyght was one hot, yummy man, troubled and broken but still fixable and he was so worth fixing.  He was broody and dark, and had survived the unthinkable when away on his last mission.  His emotions are in turmoil and he seems ready to just give in.  Evie is a very confident and beautiful caring woman, she has made it her life passion to help people, she also has a soft spot for animals especially dogs.  She is the perfect person to rescue Daryk from himself and show him what real love is.  The chemistry between the two main characters is phenomenal and heated, sparks fly in and out of the bedroom.  I loved watching them work through their differences, they were both stubborn but both had an abundance of passion.

I loved how the author kept all of the characters from the first book involved in the story and you got to know them a little better all of the time while reading about Daryk and Evie’s story.  I loved the way that Shane connected with Daryk as well.  It could not have been written any better, there was every emotion imaginable in this book and then some.

I would absolutely recommend this book!  It was fantastic and I read it in a day, so good in fact that I did not put it down.  I can’t wait for the next book in the The Breakers’ Bad Boys series and I am looking forward to see what happens next in the lives of all of these people who’s lives I now feel a part of!  Keep them coming Ms. Roma!
