New Release: My Famous Frenemy by Piper Rayne

3.5 stars for a solid entry in the Greene family series.
Here we spend time with Posey and get to know former child star, Gavin. Both are characters that have appeared in secondary roles in previous Greene family books.

I enjoyed getting to know these two and the antics that led to them deciding if they were going to explore more than friendship. I appreciated how open Gavin was with his issues and what he needed to feel like things were going in the right direction. There were a few things that I felt like could have been dug into a bit more, but I don’t know if that would have stayed in the spirit of the series.

The duo behind Piper Rayne do an excellent job (once again) of balancing the core story along with the large secondary cast. Technically, this could be read as a stand-alone, but because of the large secondary cast and how present they are in this story, reading at least some of the prior books would add to the enjoyment factor.
